1976
LAYING THE FOUNDATION
It was in 1976 when our late founder, Mr. Sudeshkumar Sahani laid the foundation of ‘SAHANI AND SONS’. At a time when starting a business was considered painful and excruciating, extreme hard work was at the core of his vision and dream. At Punjani Estate in Thane, we first entered into sheet metal fabrication in a 1000 sq.ft workshop.
1986
PASSING ON THE BATON
It was Mr. Sudeshkumar Sahani’s untimely abode that brought his elder son, Mr. Sushil Sahani into the fold at the young age of 21 years. Within little time, the youngster showed a shared vision with his father, and took up the mantle with enviable levels of responsibility.
1991
TAKING A BOLD STEP
In 1991 we saw our first foray in the organised formwork sector with Vashi station being a stepping stone in the formwork sector at a time where bamboo and ply was the way to go. It showed our long term vision and adaptability which was going to take the industry by storm in the coming years.
1999
FORAY INTO SPECIALISED FORMWORK
With constant dedication and the focus to grow, we got our first breakthrough in the infrastructure industry with the supply of tetrapods and dolosus breakwater structures in the state of Gujarat and the infamous JJ Flyover being the first example of our penchant for large scale and critical projects.
2001
GATHERING STEAM
From strength to strength and one project to another, Pranav worked towards accelerating its growth to higher success by playing a major part in the world renowned Bandra WorliSea link which brought us the name and recognition as well as the Nagpur flyover, which was a technological marvel considering the limitations of technology at the time.
2003
A NEW BEGINNING
A new and improved manufacturing plant at Navi Mumbai which was spread across 2 acres stemmed from our planned expansion working in tandem with the company’s vision. In 2003 we forged the company’s vision for the coming years in stone as we undertook and completed the responsibility of laying down the entirety of Delhi Metro Line-1.
2005
SHOWCASING PRANAV ON THE WORLD STAGE
This year marked our first foray into the Middle East. Pranav became the only Indian company to have secured a Pre Qualification for the very prestigious Dubai metro, where the entire Dubai metro red line was tasked to us. We also executed the completion of the extremely luxurious New Doha International Airport, with precision and expertise at a time where specialised and critical formwork from India was unheard of. This project marked the landing of our company into the Middle East, a historical feat for the company and a strong reminder about the prowess and desire to manufacture world class formwork.
2009
FORTIFYING OURSELVES AS INDIA’S PREMIER FORMWORK COMPANY
The year 2009 saw us inaugurating our new plant at Badlapur. As far as the formwork industry goes in the country, Pranav’s newest plant was the largest formwork manufacturing plant in India spread across 12 acres, a testimony to our dominance as formwork leaders. This was also the year we kick started our Residential and Commercial Division which formed the base and kickstarted a new era of dominance for the years to come.
2015
ANOTHER FEATHER IN OUR CAP
We became India’s first and only company to pre qualify for the supply of formwork structures to Riyadh Metro, spanning a total length of 170km. We also executed the Batinah Expressway in Oman which won us accolades not just from our clients, but also the Oman Municipality for the quality and the precision with which the project was executed.

Forged in a fire this ‘Man of Steel’ served the nation in two wars from 1960 to 1971
Sushil Sahani
1976 saw the birth of an enterprise called ‘Sahani & Sons’ and later known as ‘Pranav Constructions’. In 1986 the vision and direction of ‘Sushil Sahani’ led the company to the next level of ‘Growth, Products, and Services’.
1992 saw the birth of Pranav Constructions, a new age of technology, a new range of products soaring with the same values ingrained by Mr. Sudeshkumar Sahani, proudly serving the Nation and the Globe for 45 years.
